founded and administered by Robbie Rothenberg and Carly Friedman, is a nonprofit that directs aid to charities that focus on education, feeding the poor, outreach and improving the world at large, with ties to local, national and Israeli charities.
The Harvard Business School graduate is also a managing member and co-founder of RedRock Real Estate Group LLC, which owns residential communities in Chicago, Ohio and the greater Midwest. In his charitable contributions, Robbie tends to focus on education, outreach and improving the world at large.
Projects in Progress
The foundation supports the following initiatives, Cakes for Lone Soldiers, a partnership between Mak’s Bake Shop and Jerusalem Heritage House that delivers cakes to lone soldiers for the Sabbath; Released Time Program, an initiative of the Lubavitch community that introduces public school children to Jewish rituals.
Robbie and Helene have consistently supported education through funding new text editions of Torah study, prayer and Jewish philosophy, including the recently published Koren Mahzor for Yom Ha’atzmaut and Yom Yerushalayim, as well as several books by Rabbi David Aaron and Rav Dovid Vatch of Jerusalem.
